Hockey Fan:
We continuously search and collect links to hockey related sites and then provide those links, all on one page. Our goal is to have more hockey links than any other links-page on the Internet.
We will soon be adding a second page, to provide links (as many as we can find) associated to local hockey, of the area.
If you know of any sites and want to send us their URL, please do, it’s appreciated.
NY Islanders:
Simply a section of the web site dedicated to the New York Islanders. Unfortunately, we are still way behind on getting this section complete. When we know more, we will tell you more.
RSPSelect:
The name... Regular Season Pool Select. The RSPSelect is a by-invitation-only pool. You can only participate in this pool if you are an NHLJL member or invited to participate by an NHLJL member.
Each spring, the rules and features of this pool, are reviewed as part of a continuous improvement process. Participants are always welcome to send in their ideas, suggestions, complaints.
Go here, for this 2009/2010 changes/improvements.
The RSPSelect Cup:
The NHLJL RSPool Select Cup was introduced in 2005. It is awarded to the Poolie who comes in first place overall. The winning Poolie's name and the year, is engraved on the cup. The cup is handed over to the Poolie along with their $$ winnings. The Poolie keeps the cup from the time awarded, until on or before the date of the following season's draft session... The HOD.
The Cup was introduced with future plans of two pools, representing two conferences (or divisions). It will be two identical pools, each of which, having one Poolie winning first place & first place prize money. Between the two Poolies, the one with the higher total points will be awarded the cup and have their name engraved.
The RSPSelect will be the league name and the two conferences will be called (possibly) RSPS-div-A RSPS-div-B (tentatively).
This new Pool is being planned for the 2010-2011 or 2011-2012 season.
The HOD:
HOD stands for House of Draft. The RSPS is a draft-players type pool; therefore all Poolies must attend the HOD, if they want to participate. The HOD is a properly organized & managed draft session. Drafting of players is done promptly; to maintain the HOD schedule/agenda. Poolies attending must be well organized and prepared.
For more info about the HOD go here.
theNHLJL Playoff Pool:
We run a playoff pool as well. Everyone is welcome to join this pool, which is done online.

This section of the site is for visitors who are not into hockey or hockey pools. There are two non-hockey sections, called Monitor Covers & OhWow Pics.
Monitor Covers:
We call wallpaper, monitor covers. In this section you will find ‘pics’ for downloading for your PC desktop. We try to provide a variety of categories, each with high-quality monitor covers.
Oh Wow Pics:
It's exactly that. Those emails your friends send you of funny and strange pics then find, you will find here. We have many OhWow pics for you to choose from and we keep adding more.
Carleton Place:
We live in Carleton Place and are originally from the surrounding area. In this portion of the site, we hope to provide some useful information, light amusement and welcomed pastime, for visitors from the area.
