Prizes and Stuff
Of the total from all the Entry Fees, a small admin-fee is deducted to cover our web-site charges. The remaining is the Pool-Pot which we call “bag of pucks”.
1. 1st Place (Poolie with highest total points) wins 60% of the "bag of pucks".
2. 2nd Place (Poolie with second highest total pts) wins 25% of the "bag of pucks".
3. There is not a 3rd place prize.
4. If there is a tie for 1st place... 1st place & 2nd place winnings are combined to make 1 winning prize (85% of the "bag of pucks"). All those who are tied for 1st place win equal shares of the (85%). Yes 2nd place is no longer.
5. If there is a tie for 2nd place... then all those who are tied for 2nd place, win equal shares of the 25% of the "bag of pucks".
6. In place of a 3rd place prize are 2 bonus-like prizes. Each are 7.5% of the "bag of pucks". The two Poolies who finish in the standings 2 ranks above middle rank and 2 ranks before the middle rank win this bonus prize. Once the number of Poolies is official these two positions will be posted for all to see.
If poolies are tied for either rank position, their total number of goals is used to break the tie. If still tied. you share the prize.
