At the HOD, GMs are prepared to first draft 15 players, then draft 5 players. GMs will keep track of players’ salary cap-hits to stay within the NHL salary upper/lower limits. GMs complete and hand in their draft-sheet, once all is done.
Drafting:
GMs are assigned their draft order, (ie; pick a number from a hat).
Future draft sessions the order is determined by the standings. Last place draft first & first place draft last (& so on).
Fees range from $40 to $65 each season. This includes refundable ‘commitment’ fees.
KLPS
A Keeper League fantasy pool. Poolies draft a 20-man roster according to the set positions’ criteria, and accumulated player salaries. Participants are asked to commit to 3 seasons.

Come prepared to the HOD. Each participant will draft 15 to 20 players (ref time restraints).

Tip: Bring a friend to help you.
The KLPS will only have the 1 hardcopy, the ‘draft-sheet’, to handout. It will be the official roster of your drafted players, on the day of.
Teams must stay within the salary cap limits.
Tip: Closely monitor player Cap-Hits while drafting; as salaries accumulate quickly.
Keep Cap-Space in mind, if you’re intending a full 23 player roster.
Pool fees are due at the HOD.
