To Partake  

- You enter by registering and paying your entry fee.

- Registration is available with the first PSP Card #1 (of 2).

- You can also pre-register. A separate online form is available if you want to pre-register.

- Each entry/registration covers the Pool’s qty 2 PSP Cards.

- You can submit multiple entries.

• 1 X entry = $15

• 2 X entry = $30

• etc…

- You can pay your entry fee and not do another thing; yet still have a chance to win. If you forget or choose not to submit your PSP Card(s), a Card(s) is submitted for you, accepting all the default settings. (Questions? Ask!)

Instructions

- This Pool has qty 2 PSP Cards.

- Both cards must be completed as per the instructions here (and with the cards).

- PSP Card #1 is for Round 1 of the Playoffs.

- PSP Card #2 is for the remaining qty 3 Playoff Rounds.

- With each Card you input…

• The winner of each series of each Round.

(The ‘underdog’ team is selected by default)

• Total goals for each series of each Round

(‘22’ total goals each series is set as default)

- Cards can be submitted online or by hardcopy.

- Hard copies need a photo taken of the entry, which is then attached to an email or text.

- These photo attachments are emailed to jon.thenhljl@gmail.com.

- If you send via text you will need the Pool’s text-cell-number. Just ask.

Points

- You get 3 points for each correct winning team.

- Points are awarded to series total goals, no matter which team wins. As follows…

… You get 3 points if you’re within 1 goal +/- (series total goals).

… You get 2 points if you’re within 3 goals +/- (series total goals).

… You get 1 point if you’re within 5 goals +/- (series total goals).

- At end of Playoffs the Poolie(s) at top of the standings (highest number of points) win the Pool-Money.

- Standings will be posted (updated) after Round 1, after Round 3 and after Cup finals (Round 4).

Tie-Breaker

- Total Goals each series will also be used as tie-breaker, in needed.

Prizes

- First Place Prize amount(s) is relative to the number of participants.

- Pending the number of participants a 2nd (& 3rd) Place prize will be included. IE; entry fee refund.

- Prize info will be updated here, after the number of entries (Poolies) is official.

- A $10 admin fee is deducted. All the remaining Pool-cash is given to the winner(s).

Qty 15 Poolies X $15 = $225

$225 - $10 (admin fee) = $215

$215 - $15 (2nd place prize) = $200

$200 - $200 (1st place prize) = $0

Items or Issues  

1- Poolie MISSES online entry came in 5mins late. Online form had yet uploaded disabling the Submit-Card button. Because of the delay with disabling button and low Poolie numbers, their entry was accepted.

2- Poolie VAN BY THE RIVER submitted a snapshot of their picks after experiencing problem with online form. All was double checked and all confirmed to be correct.

3- (revised) Poolie CRUSHER submitted Card #2 via photo. After all was uploaded and deadline had passed, it was noted they left the ‘winner of cup’ field blank, with 2 team’s names, each side (see Poolies Picks page). It was decided, a quarter-toss will be used to select 1 of the 2 teams. Florida was selected by the toss. The Poolie will also lose 1 point if Florida wins to counter 3 points given to a Poolie who submitted “2” teams to win.

Note: Team-Defaults were not assigned, as they can only be associated in Round 2 (first round of Card #2).

4- A column sorting error was found in the standings (pre May 17th). This did not affect Poolies points but caused much confusion. All is now corrected. A new Standings report is posted with more detail. This will also help everyone when checking their points/scores.

5- Poolie BIG DOUGHTY KANE total goals EDM vs LAK = 46, actual total goals = 44 but was awarded 3pts. This was corrected and now 2pts awarded.

6- Error with points reported & corrected. Cause of error was missing ‘cells’ in one formula to calc sums. This error was noted and fixed previously but a copy of the ‘table’ missed copying of certain rows of cells. All formulas were reset and double checked to confirm all is included in calculations. ie; Homewrecker’s PTs for Total Goals in RND 3 were not added-to in previous standings report.
