Point System

-  Each correct winning team, you earn 3 points.

-  Each correct OT/SO game, you earn 2 points.

-  Each correct total goals/game +/- 0 you earn 5 points.

total goals/game +/- 1 you earn 4 points.

total goals/game +/- 2 you earn 3 points.

total goals/game +/- 3 you earn 2 points.

total goals/game +/- 4&5 you earn 1 point.

total goals/game +/- >5 you earn 0 points.

-  Tie-Breaker (total goals, all 8 games combined) does not award points.

Rules

-  This pool requires a min 11 participants and is limited to qty 50 participants (Poolies).

-  Entry fee is $15 (paid by deadline). Enter as often as you like. Each entry requires its own Poolie-name.

-  Pool Entry Deadline is Saturday, Feb 19th, at 1:00pm.

-  All fields to be completed as required.

-  No fields will have default values. Any field with a “placeholder” value, this is not considered a default value.

-  Each entry will have a date time-stamp. This is created at the time a card is submitted online. A photo is taken of hardcopy entries & submitted via email or text message. The photo & email, or text, creates a date time-stamp.

-  Once a card is submitted and found to have errors, it will not be deemed void and the Poolie will not be issued a refund. Errors will most likely effect the Poolies’ points.

For this reason, if you think you made an “oops”; simply resubmit, using the same Pooliename. The system/process will automatically delete your previous entry.

Prizes

-  First & second place win the Pool prizes.

-  Second place win $15 (similar to a refund).

-  First place wins the Pool-Cash.

-  A nominal admin fee is charged relative to the number of participants. See illustrated cards (on this page) for more info and winnings based on number of participants.

-  First &/or second place; if tied, the Tie-Breaker values are used. The Poolie closest +/- to the actual total goals is chosen the winner. If still tied, the Poolie closest, without going over, is chosen the winner. If still tied, both Poolies are chosen winners.

Instructions

1:  $15 per entry. Enter as often as you like.

2:  Complete all 3 Sections

2a:  Sect 1: Only select the winning teams.

2b:  Sect 2: Select only two games, overtime/shootout (OT/SO) will be played. [2 min…2 max]

2c:  Sect 3: Select total goals scored in each game, only from the row of #’s (1 thru 8). No two games can have the same # of total goals. ie; If you select “3” for game 1; you cannot select “3” again, for any of the remaining games.

3:  Enter a tie-breaker # to represent total goals scored, all 8 games combined [no points are awarded for tie breaker]

4:  Complete your information.

3a:  Enter a Poolie-name: Use different name with multiple entries. [alpha-numeric, </=16 characters].

3b:  Enter a valid Email Address [will not be posted or shared by thenhljl.com].

3c:  Enter your first & last name [will not be posted or shared by thenhljl.com].

5:  Confirm you paid entry fee [e-trans, paypal, by cash, etc.]. You’re all done, submit & good luck.

Note: This Pickem Games Pool format is designed to limit the number of ties and provide fair play for all.
